Description:
Fire animation, mapped using standard 3dsmax 5.1 procedural maps. Fully animated using expression techniques (non keyframed animation), so this animation will continue on and on. Scene is as shown in the thumbnails.Fume created using standard fog and gizmo. If you take close up render, overlap between fog and fire mesh may quite annoying. You need to reduce fog density, or probably disable fog effect at all.
NOTE: if you extend the track bar (timeline) over 100,000 frame, the animation won't continue after the 100,000th frame. Then, you have to delete all expressions, and reinsert them. But I think that wouldn't happen anyway, because 100,000 frames is long enough (assume you're working in PAL system (25 fps), 100,000 frames equal 4,000 seconds). Commonly, nobody will make monotonous animation like that.
If you want to tweak the scene, you need a little knowledge about curve editor. Otherwise, you have to
buy another fire effect :D
