Description:

This meticulously modelled version of Verner Panton's acrylic globe lamp includes most of the original's details.
The .obj and .3ds archives each include two versions of the model: a 11,000-poly low-resolution version to be used in large, crowded scenes, and a 30,000-poly high-resolution version suitable for very tight close-ups.
All prominent parts of the model, including holes and seams in the acrylic shell are modelled (instead of textured), ensuring a realistic behaviour whatever your camera angle.
Note that the .obj and .3ds versions provided here do not include materials definition and you will have to assign materials depending on which package/renderer you use. However, all parts are separated allowing easy editing.
