This scene is Ready to render exactly as you see above (Maya formats) with MentalRay settings.
This model has been modeled with a clean topology based on quads and edge loops where needed. It is ready to be rigged and smoothable.

The model is provided with the following textures (.TGA):

color Brown (2048x2048)
color White (2048x2048)
bump (2048x2048)
diffuse (2048x2048)
specular (2048x2048)

This asset includes WHITE RAT and BROWN RAT variations, each one is provided in separate files with their own different fur setup.

main: 10518 (maya faces)
eyeballs: 480 (maya faces)
teeth: 368 (maya faces)

This pack includes all the following formats for each rat:

.mb (maya 8.5 binary)
.ma (maya 8.5 ascii)
.obj (alias wavefront)
.fbx (kaydara)

FBX is directly exported from Maya with textures assigned (no fur)
Obj is directly exported from Maya with textures assigned (.mtl included) (no fur)

NOTE:
The Fur is made with Shave and Haircut for Maya 8.5 so you would need that Maya plugin to render the fur out.
You can decrease the hair primitives to avoid memory issues or increase them as long as you have enough memory.

The Shave and Haircut Fur setup is included in all the MAYA formats.
The OBJ and FBX formats don't include the Shave and Haircut setup so you can only use the textures.

I have included a separate Maya (ma/mb) file with the hair guides (nurbs) so you can make them dynamics and use with other fur plugins.
